August 6, 2025, (Pitman, NJ) – Pediatric Nursing has been inducted into the Fifth Class of the Nursing Journal Hall of Fame, established by the International Academy of Nursing Editors (INANE) to recognize scholarly nursing journals with 50 or more years of continuous publication and sustained contributions to nursing knowledge. The 2025-2026 cohort of 11 journals were recognized during the INANE Annual Meeting on August 6, 2025, in Portland, ME. This year’s recognition will bring the total number of journals in the INANE Nursing Journal Hall of Fame to 42. Special thanks to Anthony J. On July 1, 2025, Pediatric Nursing welcomed its newest editor, Dr. Tedra Smith, who will continue the dedication, commitment, and legacy established by the journal’s previous esteemed editors.”

The journals are international in scope and cumulatively represent 555 years of scholarly publication in nursing. The journals are a cross section of professional nursing practice, research, education, and leadership and demonstrate depth in nursing excellence and scholarship through the published literature.
