Nursing Economic$ Foundation Scholarships are available to graduate students in a Nursing Program. Up to four $5,000 scholarships will be awarded. Deadline to apply is May 15, 2024.

 

SEWELL, NEW JERSEY (JANUARY 2024) - The Board of Trustees of the Nursing Economic$ Foundation (NEF) will award up to four $5,000 scholarships to registered nurses in a Masters or Doctoral nursing programs who submit applications before May 15, 2024.

Nursing programs should demonstrate an emphasis on administration or management within the program scope and must be administered by a school of nursing within the United States. Interested nursing candidates may learn more by visiting www.nursingeconomics.net. Prospective candidates in the nursing sector can also download the application at this time.

The NEF Board is pleased to support graduate-level nursing education, with an emphasis on administration or management, with these annual scholarships. To date, more than $450,000 has been awarded by the Foundation. For 2024, applications will be reviewed after the May 15 deadline and selected applicants will be notified during August 2024.

 

2024 NEF Scholarship Applicant requirements include the following:

  • Must be matriculated or matriculating into an accredited, degree-granting Masters or Doctor of Nursing Science or PhD in Nursing (with a research component) program for the 2024-2025 school year. There should be an emphasis on administration or management within the program and it must be at a School of Nursing within the United States.
  • Plan to continue in the field of nursing with a career interest in nursing administration, management, leadership, or education upon completion of degree program.
  • Must complete the Nursing Economic$ Foundation Scholarship award application and submit to the Foundation office prior to the deadline of May 15, 2024.
  • May not have previously been awarded a Nursing Economic$ Foundation Scholarship while enrolled in the same degree program for which the 2024 application is being submitted.
  • Understands that this scholarship is not exclusive. It may be received by the student in addition to any other scholarships or grants that have been awarded.
  • Permits the Nursing Economic$ Foundation and the Nursing Economic$ journal the right to publish a picture and biography and/or related application information if awarded a Foundation scholarship.
  • Agrees that any scholarship awards will be used to defer the cost of tuition in the degree-granting program and further understands that the Nursing Economic$ Foundation will pay the awarded scholarship jointly to the individual and the indicated school.
  • Applicants cannot be a member of the Nursing Economic$ Foundation Board of Trustees; a member of the Nursing Economic$ Editorial Board; an employee of the Nursing Economic$ Foundation; an employee of Anthony J. Jannetti, Inc.; or a family member of any of the above.
