ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position helps in developing and maintaining production schedules, copy editing, proofing, formatting articles, corresponding with authors and reviewers, soliciting authors, developing promotions, answering queries and permissions requests, and copyrighting material. This position works closely with managing editors, editors, editorial boards, manuscript reviewers, authors, and potential authors to ensure the high-quality content for which Jannetti Publications are known. The position interacts with the art, advertising, and fulfillment departments to coordinate and fit the many pieces of the publication puzzle together in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
This position requires excellent communication, grammar, and organizational skills. Experience with editing, PC publication software, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or related field is preferred.
